After completing a degree in Fine Art, like many University Graduates I wanted to take some time out to see the world.  However, as I have never been compelled to blend in with the crowd or follow the conventional path I needed to do this in a way that would satisfy my craving for the unusual and feed my inconvenient addiction for doing things the hard way!

Then came the ideal solution, a trip that would incorporate my love of adventure and culture with the opportunity to climb in remote places, feed my love of photography while I encounter and capture some amazing images, meet exciting people and experience the art and architecture of exotic cultures.  The project has also given me an ideal opportunity to raise money and awareness for Mountain Rescue UK, which as a keen participant in many outdoor pursuits is a charity I strongly believe in.  What more could I want from a trip?

This project has given me an excellent chance to learn and put into practice new and diverse skills, allowing me to showcase my creativity and expand my potential.
